Harpic Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Busy families look for efficient ways to enhance the cleanliness and health of their homes, and they appreciate convenient products that can help. Throughout Europe, Harpic’s’s new consumer-friendly package has made toilet cleaning less of a hassle. 

Harpic maker Reckitt & Benckiser understands the needs of consumers who require a product and a package clearly designed for functionality and convenience in sanitizing toilets.  R&B asked Dean Lindsay to analyze consumers’ functional needs in using toilet cleaners, and he developed an improved container that made applying the product easier.  They also asked Dean to create a single package that would appeal to both the European and US markets.  The result was an attractive package that is already preferred by European consumers.

The unique patented bottle design features an ergonomic grip with a curved non-slip surface that helps consumers grip the wedge-shaped container and point the directional dispenser properly, without uncomfortable stresses to the hand and wrist. The distinctive shape is easy to grasp, reduces strain in squeezing the bottle and decreases the range of hand motion required to apply the product in a circular action.   Thanks to this brand-new design, toilet sanitizing is less messy, safer and more convenient.
